You may use WordCountCheck.com for personal and commercial purposes free of charge. No registration is required.

  • Attempt to interfere with, harm, reverse-engineer, or compromise the security or functionality of the Service
  • Upload viruses or malicious code

  • Overload the Service with excessive requests (e.g., more than 1,000 requests per minute from the same IP)

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by WordCountCheck.com. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Advertisements

The Service is supported by advertisements delivered through Google AdSense and Ezoic. By using the Service, You consent to the display of such advertisements, which may be personalized based on Your browsing behaviour.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend Your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if You breach these Terms. Upon termination, Your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WordCountCheck.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any errors or inaccuracies in word/character counting
  • any third-party content or conduct

In no event shall our total liability exceed $100 USD or the amount You paid us (if any).

“AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” Disclaimer

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Disputes Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably by contacting us at nalinketekumbura@gmail.com. If no resolution is reached within 30 days, the dispute shall be settled under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be announced on the website at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after any revisions constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish its objectives to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
